How I did it: Honestly, I just up and did it. I depended a lot on a friend who had already set up her own shop and had experience with selling. Not only that, I observed other Etsy shops and how they ran their own! Read how I did it…
I don’t work at Beard Papa anymore and thank goodness. The happy feelings and good times I had the first couple months diminished quickly and I suffered with the horrible job. I quit late September of last year after getting hired at Starbucks… Now THAT’S the place to be. It’s been over 8 months since my first day at work and I’ve yet to ever regret it! =]
He was the only one to bake anything in the family, and I took for granted his amaaaazing carrot cakes. When he passed away I realized no one was able to continue baking his delicious goodies. So today I decided to make it out of scratch in his memory and as a treat for my dad, his son. And must I say, for a person who can barely cook, I did a pretty good job! =]
