get my tongue pierced.
Got it!

I walked into All Hallow’s Ink and walked out with a barbell through my tongue. It didn’t hurt at all to pierce it, but the days that followed had me feeling very swollen and uncomfortable, and unable to eat most foods. It was totally worth it though! It healed very quickly and has never given me any trouble. My parents weren’t thrilled, but they still love me. It’s something that I wanted to do for a long time, but also something many people would never expect. I guess I don’t seem like the type who likes tattoos & piercings, even though I really do! It’s not immediately noticeable when I talk, so it’s fun when someone asks, “Wait, is your tongue pierced??” Even though I got it almost a year ago :P And I love shopping for jewelry, it’s like buying new clothes for my tongue!
