I decided to enroll in a brief 5-week class that focuses on basic stitching and pattern-making, and I love it!! Sewing gives you so many more options with your wardrobe and it’s so rewarding to make something yourself. Right now I’m working on making a ruffled sundress out of a t-shirt. It’s so much fun :D

How I did it: I got it done late at night at a small studio in the city. My piercer used the bar, although I've heard that using two rings and later switching to the bar works for some folks. I would dare to say the procedure didn't hurt at all -- then again, I think my anxiety and apprehension after hearing about so many painful industrial experiences overwhelmed any physical pain I would've felt :P.It's been three months now, and I've run into some h… Read how I did it…
Right now I’m on day 2 and taking it slowly. I’m not trying strict veganism and completely avoiding animal products like honey, gelatin, and glycerin, but I am cutting out eggs and dairy products. I’m currently on day 2, and I have to say I woke up feeling much more energized even though I’m running a big sleep debt! It is hard at first, especially for me since I’m at college and am confined to cafeteria food, but it’s worth trying out veganism, especially if you’re already a vegetarian. :)
Being abroad, I feel, makes talking to strangers 10x easier. But I’d really like to talk to strangers in my own country.
