How I did it: Two of us, having some time but undecided on destination, tossed a coin and chose West. West turned out to be a very pretty drive through mountains, woods and waterways. We met some very sweet people... ate great diner food....took many photos... and climbed a lookout tower from which we were blessed with a magical view. How I did it: The first one, I wrote as a child and sent to my young adult self- wanting to bring my questions to the place my answers might be. When that one proved to be an educational experience, I made myself a promise to repeat it from time to time. Read how I did it…
How I did it: As a kid, I chose a beach and walked the oceanside business zone, applying at every restaurant/hotel I passed, until I was hired. My benefits included room and board. In warm weather, it gave me a secure place (and free parking) and easy access to everything. In the Winter, it was a peaceful paradise for photography and contemplation. Read how I did it…
