Right, so I seem to have a rather good freestyle now. My arms are doing great, and so is the breathing. I can even do it for ages without stopping. The thing I have a problem with is my legs… When I use a kick board I do fine, but actually putting it with the strokes aswell, my legs are just useless. Got to get it together more. Any advice??

How I did it: I trained for about 3 months, running in the mornings before work and sometimes doing a workout in the evening too. Eating very healthy is important and I actually lost about 20 pounds in the process! I ran about 2-3 miles most days and always warmed up before every work out and did some stretches after. Read how I did it…
Ok, so my typing speed is around 45 wpm. However, I can’t touch type. If I try touch typing my WPM is around 30. This is bad as I really don’t think it looks good and having recently been looking for a job (I now have one) I noticed how this is quite important to a lot of employers.
I have just bought ‘Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing’ – a CD ROM which i’m hoping is going to help. I have been doing a few free online typing lessons but it’s time to take it seriously and do a little every day.
My goal is to get to about 70 WPM.
I have decided to do this as I think it’s important to learn another language. The fact that I don’t speak anything but English is really not good enough. I also feel that in today’s society employers look favorably on people who can speak another language.
I did start learning Italian a few years back but I feel that Spanish would be more useful, especially as I now live in the U.S.
I have decided to try to learn it on my own. I am thinking of using the Michael Thoas method. Some research is needed first.
