The turkish foreign exchange student sat on my dorm bed and said “For you, I have incredible passion”. I told him that that didn’t mean anything. He answered “You’re wrong. It means everything.” And then gave me an astounding kiss. Right out of the movies.

How I did it: I went to Portugal, totally alone on vacation. I stayed at an amazing hostel, and the chef took us on a pub crawl, out like locals. I left to go out at something ridiculous like 1:30 AM, and didn't get back til after the sun came up. I went out, drank with friends, spoke another language, got pushed up against a wall and kissed, ran away from someone in a bad neighborhood, and ended the whole night with watching the sun come up over a riv… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I was out to eat at a restaurant that had a bar next door with friends. On our way out, the owner recognized one of my friends, and called us over to the bar for a round of drinks. I am underage, and the owner didn't ask. Now, we're regulars on salsa dancing nights, and we've had some awesome, awesome fun. Read how I did it…
How I did it: This goal was so much easier than I thought it could be. I thought I had to do something big, spectacular, even, to count. Instead, I just started singing. Shower. Car. Along to the radio. You name it. If there's music on, I'm going it. Sometimes I sing so strong it's like my body buzzes. Totally worth it. Read how I did it…

I finally took the plunge and went on Accutane after years of horrible acne. It was partially caused by an allergy to cinnamon. The side effects arent really anything stellar…dry lips, nosebleeds…but this is the first time since about the age of 9 that I’ve gone out of the house without makeup. People comment on how beautiful my skin looks—and I have much more confidence. It was worth every second.
