How I did it: First of all, anyone who says it doesn't hurt is lying or is a masochist!! Be prepared because it's gonna hurt. I emailed a few holistic nutritionists in the area today. I think it would be worth it to get a professional’s help, especially with managing my thyroid disease. One of them already responding asking if I had thyroid issues, given my current situation. I’ve always felt like there isn’t much I can do re: the thyroid. Maybe I’m wrong?
I’m going to contract the local holistic nutrition school to see if they have suggestions too.
I was supposed to run 6K today, but I was a wimp and didn’t want to go out in the -18C frigidity. I am going to get past that block… heck, I used to run in -30C!
It really was just an excuse. Boo me. I’ll pick it up tomorrow.
