I don’t think I know how to do this. I’m not a person who readily speaks my mind, and I suppose that makes me a people pleaser. I know I can’t please everyone (sings I got to please myself)...but it’s difficult to form healthy relationships when I feel like if I speak my mind I’m overstepping boundaries.
And then, there is a point where people are TOO honest too.
There has to be a happy medium and I don’t think I’m there.
I suppose the response to this could be that I need to develop self-respect, but that’s not right either. I have self-respect, I just can’t voice it to others…

How I did it: There was a senior prank at my high school (when I was in 10th grade) where chickens were let loose in the halls- people started kicking them into walls and breaking necks and wings. I was horrified- but then went to lunch to eat- chicken nuggets. I felt it was really hypocritical. Also, I feel that animals have souls and I think if I can't kill it I shouldn't eat it-if I accidentally order something with meat I will eat it if no one else … Read how I did it…
How I did it: I reached another goal, working for a museum- and in our museum we have a rock wall. So not only do I get to climb whenever I want, I also get to teach other people to! Read how I did it…
How I did it: I actually currently work for a museum, so "one month" isn't actually accurate.Anyway, I applied and got hired and I couldn't be happier. I love my job. It's awesome to see the light go off and people get inspired. You should have a background in the museum's specialty, but also you should like being around people and be good at talking to them. :-) Read how I did it…

Well, I’ve known the alphabet for years, since we learned it in the 3rd grade.
My dad had an ASL book from college that he gave me, I’ve learned 7 signs! I know that’s not much but I’m happy to have started, I can’t wait to learn more!
I have not done it yet but I have the waiver forms and plan on doing it this fall with my church! :-D
