I made myself a page back in November and have been doing trade photo shoots to build up a portfolio. It’s working out really well so far, my dad insists that I be escorted though since I’m still 17 but it doesn’t bother me. I’m still going to university – I’ve already set my heart on Newcastle – but once I pull together a decent port I could do this part time and start getting paid work! :)

How I did it: I bought his book when it came out and just sat and read it. I absolutely love him and have seen all his programmes so it didn't take me long to read through the book (I'm a fast reader as it is). The beauty of his book is that you don't have to read it chronologically, you can just start at any point you're interested in and go from there, plus he writes how he speaks - incredibly witty and fun :) Read how I did it…
I had my eureka moment – at last :)
I pulled together a few rough images on the computer and stuck them together akwardly on Paint last night, and I’ve just finished a sketch based on that now! So excited, it’s perfect! It combines my creeping ivy idea with some gorgeous symbols that have some kind of meaning for me. It’s to go on my right side, starting at my hip and ascending up my rib cage slightly.
Easily covered, easily exposed. I made it myself (the sketch is terrible considering I failed GCSE art but I’m sure the artist can refine it :P) so yeah, I’m more than happy… just need to wait until my birthday in November now!
