I took a wonderful hatha yoga class. It’s a much different (and better) experience than one that you’ll find in a book. It’s both relaxing and energizing! Look for a good teacher. When I’m not taking the class it’s a bit harder to practice regularly.

I’ve wanted to do this for a while, but like many things, it really doesn’t seem feasible. It would be fun, but I’m like at home, no job, and a million miles from people. I can dream and plan. One reason is because I was part of an amazing group, and know I could make it happen if I tried. The key is to be organized, professional, but also make it casual and natural, so it feels like hanging out, but our attention rarely shifts from the task at hand -writing.
The more I find out how distasteful the work world is, the more I just want to do what I’ve always wanted to do. Write. Lots and lots, for fun, for me, for success, for nothing, for everything. Publishing a book of fiction is something I’ve wanted to since I first learned to put my ideas into words. If I do one thing, it will be this. And of course, it would be wonderful for that book to be of recognized merit.
