I wish I could have enjoyed my winter more, but it was marked by one of the most catastrophic events of my life, which was shortly followed by yet another of the most catastrophic events of my life. I’m still trying recover in the aftermath. But, I have every hope that this spring, this fall, and next winter will be better.

It’s been over three months now since it all ended, and I’m still as in love with him as I ever was. I wonder if it would make any difference if he knew that. Probably not. He’s the one who ended it. Still loving him is hard and sometimes painful, but I realize I’m not ready to stop loving him, so I go on, waiting for the day when I’ll be ready to let him go.
Aargh. I’m so frustrated with these stupid exams. This is definitely not my favorite part of grad school.
