How I did it: I put the Mint.com app on my phone and put all of our account information into it: banking, credit cards, retirement accounts, etc. It keeps track almost effortlessly of everything we spend and is pretty smart about how to categorize items. I think it's really going to help us pay off the debt we've accumulated since having skylights installed, and to save more money. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I started this goal years ago, when I was at a very unhealthy weight and I was very inactive. I started eating better and exercising more and lost thirty pounds fairly easily, and then I got complacent and hovered around the same weight for years. Last October, I decided enough was enough, and I decided to declare war, attacking from all fronts. I increased my exercise (both time and intensity), decreased my calories, and started pay… Read how I did it…
How I did it: We already had an external hard drive, and we have a wireless network connecting my laptop with the main computer, so it was actually pretty easy to move the pictures. It was just a bit time-consuming because if I moved more than about 500 at a time, iPhoto would stop responding. I moved thousands and thousands of pictures, and then deleted them from my laptop.
