How I did it: I gained some self esteem. I lost started working out (talk about a mood booster!) and lost some weight (an even better mood booster!) and I just started liking myself better. I decided to go back to graduate school and I got accepted so that didn't hurt either. Basically, I started taking action with things I wanted to change in my life and that has made me happy. How I did it: I was preparing for my 3 Day Breast Cancer walk and the pounds literally came off! I walked 5-7 days a week. Some days it was only 3 miles and others it was 10 miles.
