you cant do the splits in one night.
when i first started getting serious about gymnastics, we had to stretch A LOT. painful stretches. what worked for me what just stretching, and then kind of plopping down and trying to ease around to get lower. yeah, it hurts. but the more you practice, the less it will.
i still can’t get the side splits. i’m almost sure that it’s impossible, but if you can’t get the front splits, try switching which leg is in front. that helped me.
