Because most things I usually like to do on vacation are very difficult with an autistic child along. Particularly since he’s still largely non-verbal.
And really, I just mean a weekend alone with my husband, not something like leaving him with grandma while we have a month in Europe…
Well, OK, I’ve taken voice lessons in the past. But that was (gulp) 15 years ago. And with all the singing I do with the symphony, I could really stand a brush-up.
