How I did it: We came over on a student visa initially so my o/h could study and gain the skills so that we can apply for permanent residence. We managed to save alot of money prior to coming over which helped alot. Were not quite at the end of our journey though still have permanent residence to apply for in july so we're keeping our fingers crossed! Read how I did it…
We now have a green bin for recyclable rubbish so its a start. I still want to:
get a water butt for rain water and use it for plants or use it for flushing toilet
have a compost heap for food rubbish
stop using so many plastic bags!!
I’m working my way through slowly but surely!
