I ran the Race for Life today in just under 39 minutes. Woo hoo! I also raised a brilliant £135.50, which I am amazed by and so grateful for. :)

I always used to apologise for things that weren’t even my fault. Simply out of habit and over-politeness. Sometimes I would apologise if someone bumped into me in the street!
But I’ve finally managed to kick the habit. Nowadays, every time I feel inclined to say “sorry”, I think hard about whether I actually have anything to apologise about. It took some fine-tuning but now I think I’m rather good at judging when things do and don’t merit an apology!
Fortunately I’ve not gone to the opposite end of the scale and turned into a rude bastard. ;)
