I’m currently majoring in Music and English in college and wow.. being a music major is a zillion times harder than I ever thought it would be. All I do is study, practice, go to rehearsal, you name it. Not to mention this major is the only one where the students are allowed to have OVER the required amount of credits haha. However, the education I am getting is amazing and I’ve never be taught so much. It’s hard work, but with dedication and love of music, it is possible to make it through, and I know the end result will be amazing.

Ok, so basically, getting my lip pierced was a pretty awesome decision. I was so nervous and afraid but then I convinced myself (and my mom haha) that I should just get it done. When we arrived at the tattoo/piercing shop, The woman who did the piercings immediately greeted us and was so cool; she made me feel so comfortable and did everything so professionally.. she didn’t even use numbing cream on me.. she just clamped my lip (which didn’t even hurt, so don’t listen to anyone who says it does haha) and put the needle through it real fast and then put the jewelry in. It hardly hurt.. all you could feel was the pressure of the needle going through your lip but it didn’t even hurt at all. I didn’t even bleed, and it honestly felt pretty cool. I now have a kickass lip piercing on the left side of my mouth and it isn’t infected nor messed up or anything. Taking care of it is SO EASY. Oh my gosh, it is so simple. The only thing is that I have braces hahaha so sometimes it gets caught on them, but besides that, I hardly even remember it’s there =]

Ironically, I just recently had my first kiss; however, it was with a girl haha. At first I was very scared, but my girlfriend was incredibly forward and made every move. In the beginning, I would sit there while she kissed me, and with time I began to kiss back. I’m so incredibly comfortable with her now and I feel as though kissing is such an easy simple thing and there’s no use in getting all bent out of shape over it =]/

I tend to do things very spontaneously. Well, just the other day I became extremely bored and decided to cut off 8 inches of my own hair. I have no experience whatsoever with hair cutting, but I thought “What the heck!” haha. Well, I cut it off and am now so in love with my unique, shoulder length cut, and get compliments on it almost every day!

A good friend of mine who plays piano beautifully found the sheet music and made me a copy; seeing as he knew how much I was in love with “Victor’s Piano Solo”. At first I had major difficulties.. even with figuring out that it in fact WASN’T in the key of E like I had thought haha! After a while, however, I learned it.. and each time I sit down at a piano, I automatically have to play it =).

Well, I graduate high school on friday! However, this means that I missed my opportunity to burn down the school. Maybe in the future, a brave soul will safely take the chance and do what I, myself could not. Although, I do have college to think about..? Maybe when I start and end up despising it, then I’ll make burning down my school another goal ;D. Until then, be safe, kids! haha.

Music is everything to me, and what started out as a self-teaching hobby, turned into a future career. This fall I’ll be a guitar major in college and this just shows me that without picking up the instrument a few years ago and teaching myself, that my future could be totally different. It’s theraputic as well; nothing can even come close to the feeling you get after playing a song on guitar.. it’s beautiful.

O.k., so I don’t own a drumset, but I have this hobby of trying to learn every instrument I’ve ever known. At my high school which I just graduated from, the music room had one, lone drumset. Each day during my lunch period and music class I would teach myself and learn the drums. By the end of this year I was going crazy, learning the drum solos to every song I could, and even had a few offers to be in bands =). Playing the drums is such a fun, uplifting, and stress relieving activity. Everyone should learn to play them at some point in their life.

There’s nothing more fun and uplifting than smiling at strangers. Regardless of how they respond, you’ve only had the intention of brightening up their day, and for that, you’ll also feel confident in yourself. You never know what could have happened in that stranger’s day; they could have lost a job, lost a friend, had a terrible day, and your smile could have brough them a little bit of hope in their day. Everyone should do this on a daily basis and share God’s love through smiles =).

Instead of coyly sleeping on the ground, try this out on a roof. That’s what I do. Nothing is more freeing or uplifting. It’s just you and the infinite abyss of the sky above you.

As furocious as it may seem, all you need is a loud stereo, some rough hard rock music and the ability to head bang. Try it, see the results, and experience the freeing feelings of it all.

Throughout my entire life I never had that one best friend. The only person who ever came close to being this in my life completely stabbed me in the back. Well, when I transfered to a new school in 10th grade, I met my best friend Sheena. We’ve become so close; she is my sister and we even work on music together and write together and share all our hopes and dreams. This fall we’re also both going off to college together and were lucky enough to be dormmates. God put her in my life, and I hope you guys can find someone as special as her in your life.. it’s such a beautiful thing.

I saw them in a basement in Philly and they were absolutely amazing. Afterwards they came out back and chilled with all the fans. I got to talk to all of them, take some pictures with Hayley, and really get to know them, They were amazing, adorable, kind, and awesome; best night of my life.
