just came back from an amazing three-week trip in spain and portugal. can’t wait to fly back overseas again! ;)

this is the first thing on my life ‘schedule’ after i get my bachelor’s degree, next december.

me and a college friend, spain and portugal, 3 weeks, baby. can’t wait!

well, christmas 2005 rolled around and i never sent those cards like i was supposed to.

ben just released a new album and is doing some kind of a promo tour that stopped by montreal last weekend. it was a private, unannounced concert made for industry people, in a smallish venue and.. i won tickets, thanks to my favorite cultural weekly paper.

and even though it was a both-sides-of-the-gun-promo-tour, he started the show by playing ‘another lonely day’ and ‘walk away’ back to back. it was amaaayyyzing.

back when i first started drinking coffee, i liked it ‘double-double’: two milks, two sugars. i first cut off the sugar, and then the milk, and i’m glad i did.

coffee just tastes so damn better black. ;)

this weekend, i went to a sex shop in my city that sells divacups, with the firm intention of getting one (my period had just started the day before). lucky me, they were completely out..

so now i have to wait another full month before ‘converting’ myself. damn.

i attended a private, catholic, girls-only high school where (obviously) having weird-coloured hair was prohibited.

being the wannabe-rebel teenager i was, i dyed my hair bright pink on the last day of school two years in a row, and spent two whole summers with hot pink hair.

it was worth it, though i’d never do it again.. pink hair’s just not ‘me’ anymore.

actually, the “best novels the 20th century” i’d like to read are the 50 best novels, according to the FNAC (a well-known french bookstore chain) and its customers.

it is a little more french-centered, i guess, but i am french-speaking after all. ;)

i’ve already read 14 of them. (15, if you count “cien años de soledad”, that i can’t get myself to finish. ;P)

went out for breakfast today with some old high school friends, some of which i haven’t actually seen in a couple of years (save for encounters on the bus or in underwear shops).

well, i’m not sure if it was ‘perfect,’ but it is actually quite fun to see him watching compulsively the dvd and wearing the shirt i got him.

... but i never take the time to actually go out and buy the divacup.

this is a resolution for the year 2006 (if not the only resolution i will be taking).

a cab is a cab.. it isn’t any more special in NYC. ;)

i finally got an ipod, a christmas gift from my grandparents. a lovely pink 6g ipod mini, which i called « wéginald » (named after a great fred fortin song).

i love it! it is a great change from my old minidisc player (whose censors were all worn out).

actually, i’ve seen 3 shows live on broadway (fosse, the lion king and 42nd street.. all amazing shows), but i’ve seen a lot more on national tours.

there is nothing else more to say: musical theater is love.

need i explain why this is ‘not worth it’? nah.. didn’t think so. ;P

i’m kind of bored with the band right now and stayed still all night last time i saw them in concert, but let’s admit it, they put on an awesome show. (and i can tell.. i’ve seen ‘em more than 30 times. ;P)

i can’t believe some people are actually scared to ride horses—it’s such a great feeling! the perfect mixture of freedom (feeling the air in your face while you gallop your heart away..) and work (you need control and discipline to ride english saddle!).

i find it gets harder each and every day. any tips? ;)

i received the book about two months ago. it’s pretty, interesting (québécois de 43things, si l’architecture vous intéresse un tant soit peu, une copie du livre est supposée être sur les rayons de la bnq! ;P) — plus i contributed to it, so that makes the book extra special. ;)

next goal: collaborate to a book that isn’t school-related.
