I have learned to make cordage from various materials. I have made it from old jean material, this grass stuff, plastic bags, and cedar bark. I have so much more to learn in this avenue, though!! I want to learn all I can, its soo cool. Then, I would be able to make ropes out of just stuff I find outdoors.

How I did it: I have a lot of family all over the states. One of my favorite cousins is this hilarious chick who doesn't care at all what others think. She also absolutely loves to sing. We went on a trip to the show and then, after the show we walked around downtown in this big city and just sang all the songs that we knew. We were out till like four in the morning and everyone we ran into thought we were insane, but it was sooo worth it. A few people… Read how I did it…
How I did it: There was a local class going on. I read about it in the newspaper. It was for manual photography. And photo-op will become a big part of your vocabulary. As will the sunny-16 rule : ) Read how I did it…
I just read this book called, “Outliers,” and this book talks about success. It claims that to be successful you need to have 10,000 hours in your field. So, now I plan on eating, sleeping, and breathing writing. I will write on here, I will write in my journal, I’ll start a blog and write in there, write poetry for class, and work on short fiction. In short, I will write constantly! I’m gonna be building up some calluses for sure on my pen hand.
In the winter everything becomes beautiful in a new way. I always feel like I’m hiking entirely new places! Also, when there’s snow, you can snowshoe, cross country ski, or sled through your favorite outdoor places. And, every hill becomes a massive slide, especially if there’s ice! I love winter. The world becomes and even bigger playground.
