Just completed my first scarf which will also be a Christmas present (since I didn´t have the patience to make it a non-occasion present)! :)
Now I´ll have to chenge to “learn to knit something more complex than a scarf”

Wasn´t pleasant but I suppose it was worth doing since it stopped me from stalking the cat for a cuddle when I was 4 :)
I´ve been curious to do this for a long time, so getting my own lap top in the summer which did not go along with an OS, was the occasion for a pretty swift conversion.
Now I´m using Ubuntu Dapper. Despite its explicit user-friendliness it does not get along perfectly with the model of my machine, which is painful at times. Still haven´t fixed the video properties.
However, the end of every argument with the terminal is a rewarding experience indeed!
Also, there´s something that makes me smile when I remember the code has been written with love, for a cause and I´m not cheating on anybody´s labour by getting a pirate copy of Windows :)
