I wish i had more time to backpacking and go hiking. My last trip was so great i never wanted to come back. Although i made the mistake of not packing enough calories. The couple of days following my backpacking trip i wanted to eat everything i could find.
With all the gear available for backpacking this can be an expensive hobby! bear cans, water purifiers, packs, camelbaks, nalgenes….etc. GEARAGE is as much fun as the trip

or something like that. I love spending days out in the middle of nowhere seeing no other people or people’s trash, graffetti, roads, cars, wires, buildings… etc.
Guess its nice to get back to a calm time between my hecktic life schedule. Something that i seem to need everyonce in a while.
I say its relaxing and people around me think i’m nuts to go backpacking out in bear country and listen to the loons somewhere… ahh
I am very guilty of bad posture. I used to have lots of lung problems and my chest always hurt. My lungs arent so bad anymore but i picked up the bad habbit of slouching to ease the pain even when there is none. Has anyone tried the yoga ball ‘chair’ assesory? wondering if that is worth buying-
what are some tips about reminding yourself not to slouch?
