So far, this has been a pleasant side effect of my quitting smoking. I am completely awake after the first ring of the alarm, and can’t go back to sleep when I try. Hope this benefit stays with me.

but http://www.pandora.com is a site that plays streaming music based on bands you already like. As in, you enter some things that are representative of the type of music you like, then it autmatically plays other music that is similar. You indicate whether you like the new music it has played, and it adjusts itself accordingly.
