Well, I was close to crossing this one off my list, but last week a beautiful and extraordinary young lady beat me mercilessly, over and over, at the pool table. I guess I need a little more practice.

For the last year my pile has been growing. I think I’m adding books to the pile about twice as fast as I’m reading them. I have a suspicion that I’ll be marking this goal complete around the same time I complete “spend less time on the internet”.

Done: my site has been re-written from the ground up using w3c-validated css and html 4 strict.
I think it helps to coincide the transition with a full redesign, as I did. You can rebuild everything from the ground up, and rethink and streamline the user experience in the process. Tighter presentation and tighter under the hood at the same time.
Of course it’s already due for a first round of revisions. Let’s hope the revisions are smoother now that content and presentation are separated.
