Just getting started 13 months ago

I just got all the administrative stuff completed. We are now officially “open for business”. We are a non-profit, tax exempt organization seeking to reduce the large wave of personal debt. We are BeatingDebt.org

Debt Free 19 months ago

On Dec 5th, we celebrated paying off our last two consumer debts. Except for our mortgage, we are DEBT FREE. We DID IT!! It is an amazing feeling! We went from about $90,000 in debt after leaving college to only a mortgage now. You should try it! Now my next goal is to stay out of debt and not be tempted to take out more debt.
