What the heck was I waiting for?
2 weeks of pain afterward but I’m so glad they’re gone.

If you take the time, plan well, do your homework, avoid cutting corners, and use the right tools for the job, it’s fully worth doing.
The reward? Well, my estimates for expenses are around $7,500 for all materials and equipment.
In the end, I ended up with a driveway that would have cost me closer to $30,000 to have a contractor install it for me.
It was miserable work. And totally worth it.
Ok, it may not seem like much, but I started off this season with a 98. Remember now that I am as honest a player as you will find. I don’t take ANY mulligans, fluff my ball, or improve my lie outside of regulation rules. When I knock a ball OB I rehit for my third stroke. etc. I think you get the point. I don’t cheat!
So anyway I hit the course with no idea what my game will be like and I birdie the first hole! Woo Hoo! I then his hole number 2 which is Par 4 ranked the hardest hole on the course and I get a 6 double bogey. Not bad (I often walk away from that hole with a 7 and so do a lot of other good golfers) Next hole? PAR! (3) In fact I complete the front nine with another birdie and an overall 44, (yes I had a few hiccups but overall things were going well.
I’m very excited. I expect to have a round in the 80s for the first time in my life and that will mean that I have achieved my goal. I can do this!
