I did a little one -- does it count 7 months ago

I took two cameras (and a stills camera) and filmed us—the resulting film gets me hot. But I still want to make a movie with more than just my own cameras – a professional film crew.

find the right person (duh!) 3 years ago

I’m very happily married. We met and were married within a year—11 months and two weeks.
For us, Marriage is a decision. It’s about deciding to be a partnership. Now we have a baby boy (two weeks old) and we’re very happy.
Good luck! (when i got married i was 35 and my wife was 33. Don’t put your life on hold waiting for this. It’ll happen when it’s supposed to.) (Jeez—i sound all preachy)

How difficult can it be? 4 years ago

I speak 6 languages with various degrees of fluency.
It’s time for me to learn another non-Indo-European language.
Big contenders are Hebrew or Arabic, Japanese or Chinese.
Indo-European contenders are Swedish (I speak German and Afrikaans, so it shouldn’t be hard) and Irish (which is a killer because it’s so difficult to read).
I’ve heard that Chinese is daunting because of the characters.
But what beautiful writing!
