Writing the book was the easiest part!
Ishmael discovers our universe is only one of trillions of the universes, each one created every time a sentient being makes a decision in any other world. When a combination of historical events grinds the dimensions together, the multiverse is doomed! Ishmael has just 48 hours to find his missing father, discover the key to saving the multiverse, fall in love, and find the perfect boat.

I guess it’s an addiction. I’m finishing up a 12 foot version of the Summer Breeze. Looks good, and I hope it will sail well.
Still working on several books, but one is finished for fun.
It was a nanowrimo winner, so you can preview it at: Call Me Ishmael
It can be purchased at: Call Me Ishmael

The boat is completed and legal. When getting the permit, I was asked if the boat had a name. I responded, “Not yet,” and since it seemed to fit in many ways, that is now it’s name: The Not Yet.
I took it across the lake and back; it’s a bit fussy, and needs a light hand, but it’s a good boat.
The boat has now tasted water. It floated (it should, it’s made of wood). There were some leaks, which are now patched. It is, a boat, and now only needs two oars and a good name.
The boat is now built, and the finishing work is going on. It’s a small (7’4”) punt, but has been an exercise in technique, materials, and skills.
I think it has been in, and back out since I last wrote. Revision on the second work continues, so things are always in the mix.
The book is out to another publisher. I think I’m going to move to multiple submissions, rather than waiting to hear from one. Other work goes on.
The publisher said it did not meet their needs. I’ll send it off to another one who may have different needs. Revision on other work and new work continue. This will happen.
Revision, revision. Almost done, and time to move on. This is actually good. After four revisions, I can see much difference and improvement between what I have now and the first draft.
