i have been unintentionally voyeuristic on here for a while because i could NOT figure out how the heck to do this. turns out, i just needed to throw enough hours at it on a saturday night. whew!
20 year micro-cap:
i am living in anchorage as of may of 2000, just a few blocks from where i grew up. i have also spent significant time in seattle, philadelphia, and boulder. i tried my hand at college (over and over and over again) in maryland, anchorage, portland, and philadelphia. still no degree.
i got married in 1989 to a chugiak grad (1984) and all-around wonderful man. our marriage has worked, even tho’ he grew up referring to “los anchrage” and i grew up referring to “evil river” mike and i are celebrating our 17 year anniversary a couple of weeks after the reunion. our kiddos are 9 (nora) 5 (margot) and 1 1/2 (satchel) every 4 years like clockwork (i call it the lazy parent spacing) we keep very busy trying not to do too much, but have been pulled into a few projects over the last 5 years (2 major house rehab/remodels and the starting of a charter school that opened last fall) we’re hoping to be tyvek free by august.
this sounds a bit rambling, but perhaps i will figure out how to get a photo or 10 up here, and maybe, just maybe, use the shift key.
i am looking forward to the distraction in august. time, how she do fly…
