I can’t be too specific now, but I am very excited about possibilities. I didn’t think this would necessarily ever happen, but the universe works in funny ways, doesn’t it?
:)
I gained 42 lbs during pregnancy, and lost about 45 since then. I have no idea how I did it because I’m not on any discernible diet or exercise program, but I’ll take it. Perhaps it is because I am sleeping less and therefore burning more calories, and that I am still nursing my 11 month old? Regardless, I can cross this one off the list.
I fit into all of my pre-pregnancy clothes (although they do not fit the same), and I’m back to my pre-pregnancy weight, but my body is still…different. I do not expect it to go back to the way it was, but I would like to be happy with the way I look and feel. So far, between full time mothering and lawyering, I can only manage to exercise once a week. I need to figure out how to schedule in more.
If I can’t stop him from chewing through power cords, I think this goal is pretty impossible absent animal cruelty. I give up.
I don’t really like waking up around the clock and being sleep deprived, but my son is worth it.
I can’t believe we moved with a one month old baby, but we did, and it was worth it. The extra room is great, and the yard will be perfect when he gets a bit older.
The past 5 1/2 weeks have been the best – and most difficult – weeks of my life. We are all doing well though, and are happy and healthy. Hopefully I’ll be able to post some photos soon. :)
He really needs a new suit since he only has one that fits, but that is way out of the budget. Plus with the baby coming in the next few weeks, all the attention has been on me, and I want him to have something really special so he knows how much I appreciate everything he has done for me over the past few months. That’s kind of a tall order I guess.
Seriously. The kids pretty much have full run of the house, which will likely change once the baby is born (I’m assuming they will be afraid of the baby, but we’ll see). I’ve already caught the boy kitty in the crib about 20 times. It would be nice though to be able to have company over without them jumping up on the table trying to eat peoples’ food and/or drink their wine.
It just kind of happened. If everything works out (inspections, etc.) and goes according to plan, we’ll move the first week of March. Everyone cross your fingers that our current place sells quickly. It would be awesome if the timing matches up.
I am 35 weeks pregnant now, huge, and very uncomfortable. Baby’s furniture is up, room is put together, my bags are packed, doula has been hired, Lamaze and baby care classes completed, and I’ve been lining up family to help me when I get home. In other words, I am READY. I’m crossing my fingers that I’ll meet this little guy in person before the end of the month.
I waited for the video for a year after the wedding, but the editing is fantastic, there are cool special effects, and he did a superior job overall.
I am 20 weeks pregnant now, and we are having a healthy baby boy!
Yipee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
