Since I stopped drinking soda (ten days so far! Whoo!) it’s been a lot easier to resist fast food. It’s hard to find fast food that works with water. XD We got Subway on Monday, which I barely count as fast food anyway, and we got Burger King yesterday, but I didn’t eat much of it. And I had some mozzerella sticks from Sonic on Wednesday. But hey, baby steps, right? Going from fast food every day to three times a week is an improvement. :D

How I did it: Fall of 2008, my boyfriend and I started looking at apartments, and moved out in November. We paid our own bills and bought our own food and everything, and didn't depend on our parents to take care of us. We just moved to a new place with 2 roommates, still paying everything on our own and taking care of ourselves. Since I share the bills with 3 other people, I'm not totally self-sufficient, but I feel like a grown-up a… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I'm nowhere near finished - I started at a 2 year tech school so I can get some classes under my belt for free and then transfer to a 4 year school and finish up. But I am really glad I'm doing it. It took forever to get the financial aid figured out, but everything else was easy. Apply, get accepted, fill out a million forms, register for classes, buy your books, and there you go! :) Read how I did it…
How I did it: My boyfriend and I were tired of living at home, so we went apartment hunting. The second one we looked at was extremely cheap and we fell in love with it. We had to deal with all the fees and setting up utilities, and it was expensive for the first month, but we're very excited to move in tomorrow! :D Read how I did it…

Today is day ten without soda. All I’ve had to drink in the last ten days is water, some sweet tea, one Strawberry Limeade from Sonic, and some fruit drinks, like strawbery lemonade and Hi-C. I’m really surprised at how easy it’s been. I had a real problem every other time I’ve tried to stop, and I keep thinking about Coke and how I’d love some, but it’s been really easy to keep on track. :D I’m proud of myself.
I’ve started over and this time I mean it! :D I’m on day 3 and doing okay. It’s hard though. =/
