got a nice rider-waite deck, starting to learn the symbology.
Two of my friends use the Thoth deck, but in spite of his cleverness, i’m not a really fan of Aleister Crowley. I wouldn’t expect a man with transcendental spiritual power to succumb to heroin addiction. The Waite deck definitely seems more humanistic.

Returned from korea
Just spent 5 weeks in korea, visiting friends.
This time, I went alone.
My trip blog is at myspace.com/notimitation
My korean has materially improved. Still not good enough to check off the list, though. Arg.
Oh, yes, the obligatory hangeul typing is required.
한국에서 너무 재미있게 놀랐지만 아직도 말을 잘못 했어. 아쉽게도…공부 더 해야겠다…휴
At last!

2 months ago, bought a sewing machine on a whim at the local thrift store (Sears/Kenmore brand, $30)
I have now fixed a few pants and made 2 skirts from whole cloth!
The first was a practice one, with a drawstring
The second is for my korean friend. In this one, i added pockets.
Moving along nicely!
