It is what it is and it is why I am in the profession I am in. Getting notes and thank you’s from parents, doesn’t compare with feeling those connections with middle school kids and knowing that you’ve been a positive influence on their life.

take a walk in the pouring rain

What an amazing experience. Five little girls, four adults, an hour from camp and the rain begins. The funny thing is, we all look back on it as a special, exciting experience. Didn’t seem so fun at the time…especially when we took a wrong turn that included going down and then UP 96 steps. Adventure, definitely and adventure.
