i grew up in a progressive community that believes it better to improve public transportation and make most things within walking distance so that we can become a car-less society.
most of my friends from back in high school still don’t have driver’s licenses.
however, two years in college have me feeling trapped transportationally. UCSD’s not like Santa Monica.
i’d like to learn how to drive so i can get around in the world.
