i’ve been debating for some time what i want, and i have finally come up with it. i want a big piece on my back of the garden of eden, except adam and eve will be riding dinosaurs, and one will be yelling, “dinomite!” i like the idea of having something silly, because that’s who i am, plus it kind of nips that whole evolution/creation thing in the bud. awesome. now i just have to find a good artist and come up with some spare cashola…

i only drink water out of 24 oz. sport bottles. bizzare, i know, but if i drink 4 of those a day, i’m doing a damn good job. if i drink one first thing in the morning, it gives me more energy for the day, and really, they’re pretty easy to drink 4 of. i just fill them up with tap water, and i’m good to go.
this is so hard. i hate that the battle is so slow. i know the old addage “you didn’t gain the weight overnight, so you won’t lose it overnight” is true, but it’s also a pain in the ass. i went to workout yesterday, and i’ve never been more out of shape in my life. my knees hurt, my feet hurt. grr. i want to get healthy! i’ve been doing pretty great on my diet. the whole journaling thing is helping (i’m writing down everything that is going into my body), but i can’t help but wish that i looked as good as i used to. more importantly, i wish i could do the things i used to. last week, for work, we took the girls to the quarry (a rock climbing place). about 4 years ago, i went climbing quite a bit. i wasn’t great or anything, but i enjoyed it. when we went last week i could barely get the harness on…really hard to deal with…
