This is the logical next step to my periodical “sugar free” diet periods.
The goal is to specifically cut out processed sugar and corn syrup/related products out of my diet as much as possible. I’ve noticed that, if nothing else, sugar tends to make me break out the more of it I have. Whenever I cut it out, I stop breaking out unless I accidentally have some other food I can’t eat.
So far I’ve been substituting with “cactus honey powder” and actual honey. I’ve been looking into stevia as an option, as well as others.
The only sugar I’ve had for the past couple of weeks has been a smidge when I make sushi rice. I’m probably going to look into using honey as a substitute for that as well.
