Lose 40 pounds and keep it off

I put on 40 pounds over a 3 year period at uni. Too much booze and takeaways. I finished uni almost a year ago now and have so far lost 14 pounds. However, summer is approaching and I am bored of this slow weigh loss so I have started a detox in the hope that will get the weight moving again.

There are 3 phases to my detox:

1. 5 day water only fast
2. 7 days of fresh fruit, only one type per meal
3. One month of fruit and vag, no cooked foods

I am only on day one but I will let u all know how it goes.

So I started a 5 day fast today to clean my body from toxins and hopefully loose weight in the process. I also quit a 6 year 20 a day habit 3 days ago. I feel like I am overloading my body with pure crap and it needs to change. I have never done a fast before but I am hoping i will survive to come out of the over end feeling fantastic.
