Visited the Banksy exhibition in Leake St.
Moving this to the “done” list although really it’s something that’s going to continue by doing small things for people each day.
I’ve decided to give pilates a try; hopefully it will help to keep me nice and toned.
Went to the optician yesterday and apparently if I want to get new frames it would cost approx £240. That’s with no change to my prescription, just a change of frames because I fancied a new look.
Will stick with my old glasses for a while longer, I think.
Yesterday I went to our annual county show, where they had a fairground, archery lessons, farm animals and local organic produce on offer. Walked miles – miles, I tell ya! And it was a nice day, so felt good to get out in the fresh air.
First I couldn’t stop sleeping, now I can’t sleep at all. Keep waking up in the wee small hours and tossing and turning because I can’t get back to sleep. This is getting ridiculous.
A friend of mine gave me a shoulder massage at work yesterday (I was stressing about something) and it felt amazing. I’d love to be able to return the favour without causing pain and injury.
I’m spending far too much of my hard earned cash on rip-off coffees from high street chains. This must stop.
Not a good week. Can’t seem to get out of bed before 9am and then I’m exhausted all day long. Shift work sucks.
Sitting in the garden, surfing the internet on my laptop. Is that productive? Probably not.
Crossing this off my list as completed because I do feel that I’m becoming better practised at this. That is, I don’t shy away from conversations now like I did before.
Have set up a Flickr account so that I can post random photos to my blog – good excuse to start taking more pics.
I work shifts, so my sleep patterns are often completely screwed. On my days off I tend to sleep in, but then I feel like I’ve wasted half my day and I should be getting up early to do something instead of just being lazy. So from now on I’m going to try to stay in bed no later than, say, 8am.
My last proper holiday – as in, got on a plane and went to a foreign country – was almost 10 years ago when I visited California. I think I’m long overdue for another one. Somewhere with a nice beach and warm, sunny weather.
Got a cone from an ice cream man in Leicester Square yesterday afternoon. Yum.
I don’t feel like my day has properly begun unless I have a proper breakfast. My tip for a healthy and filling brekkie is oat granola, a handful of grapes, sliced banana and yoghurt. Delicious.
