Getting started

I have an old computer from years ago with 2 200GB hard drives in it. I’m fairly certain I’ve only got one operating system on there, so it should be quite simple to get the data off using the hard drive enclosure I ordered last night.

I have a couple of other hard drives around the house (I think) that might have old data on them, so I’ll try to find those.

I’ve got an old laptop with Windows and Linux installed on it, so that’s another couple of partitions I’ve got to look at.

I’ve also got my newest laptop and the iMac that Cheryl and I bought the other day. I think the iMac is going to be the place I have it all collected, but maybe the laptop will get a copy too.

Not sure about the backup method at the moment, but the iMac has a bunch of good options, so I think that’ll be easy a bit later down the line. :)

Haha, not likely now

I’ve moved to London and my theory test has expired again. To learn to drive would require passing it a third time. There’s very little need for a car in London though, and a parking space in my building costs £25k, so there’s not much chance of me being interested for the next few years.

44/50 - Reindeer

This should really be number 43 as I had it quite a while ago. I saw some sliced reindeer (sounds weird to say that) in the Ikea food store when I went there with Cheryl and I had it in some delicious sandwiches at work.

Nice, but not exactly common around here so I probably won’t be having it again for a while.
