How I did it: I'm very scared of heights.. So when we planned this adventure trip, I really wanted to overcome this fear.. And on top of it, it looked kind of cool.. Our guides were very encouraging and funny.. The point where you can't see any one on top is the hardest. It's one rush, that just freaks you out. But once you are done.. it feels great.. and no deal at all. Read how I did it…
How I did it: As I mentioned elsewhere, I have been spending a lot of time looking for classes in my vicinity. And then I jotted a few numbers down, dived deep in google maps to get my directions and made a few calls. See, it's THAT easy. I have already taken one for Zumba and have got myself a schedule of NIA on Monday, Aumba on Tuesday, Salsa on Wednesday and Aerodance on Thursday. :) Read how I did it…
How I did it: I was spending a lot of time writing status updates on twitter and facebook, playing those dumb inane quizzes to the extent that I had started to think of events happening around me as how they would make my next status. Then it was time to stop. I just wanted to take this time off to set my priorities right & spend my online time in something constructive like researching for dance classes and need I say how fruitful that was. Alright,I finally did it. Booked a Cab, Lashed out 55 Euros from my wallet and my inhibitions and stepped in. And I learnt that I am a horrible dancer and I’m h-u-g-e!! But the feeling that I came & wanted to come back again was far better than my obvious failure at my hand & leg coordination. I feel someday I’ll get there and when I finish rest of the four classes. I’ll mark this goal as done.
I’m starting from tomorrow morning. For me the pain is not working out, the pain is getting out of the bed early in the morning. :( Have set up the alarm & will get up! Hopefully.
