How I did it: Thank goodness I went on their "pay what you can" day because this was a complete waste of time. The guy didn't tell me anything I didn't already know, and although he had some innovative ways of cracking my back, it wasn't anything I couldn't have done at home with a friend's help. How I did it: I bought a package of "Splat" hair dye in their raspberry color. I wasn't going to bleach my hair, so I knew it wouldn't be quite the same as on the package. It's a home kit, just like any other, except with lots more staining! Of skin, of clothes, of floors, of grout, of shower curtains...need I go on? Read how I did it…

I’m taking a SCUBA class next semester in college. It qualifies for my PE credit. I lost partial hearing as a result of an accident during a “discover SCUBA” program in Bermuda, so I should be afraid of this…and yet I want to conquer it.

Right now I’m sitting with a white towel over my red hair. It’s going to be a pink towel from now on, I guess! We’ll see how it comes out.
