1. What did I learn/remember last week?
Sometimes you just need time to calm down and spend some time alone.

2. What was my greatest accomplishment over the past week?
Calling one of the teachers asking if I could conduct the study for my thesis in her classroom.

3. Which moment from last week was the most memorable and why?

4.What’s the #1 thing I need to accomplish this week?
Finishing my term paper. :-)

5. What can I do right now to make the week less stressful?
Actually my life isn’t really stressful at the moment.

6. What have I struggled with in the past that might also affect the upcoming week? Winter depression. Feeling lonely. Listlessness. Being afraid of failing in my studies, and life in general. Eating ‘too much’.

7. What did I spend the most time on last week? Was that good or bad?
Reading literature for my term paper. In general it was interesting. I do have to become more disciplined, though.

8. Am I carrying any excess baggage into the week that can be dropped?
The same as always. see question no 6.

9. What have I been avoiding that needs to get done?
Organizing everything necessary for my thesis, that is basically finding someone who allows me to carry out a small study.

10. What opportunities are still on the table?
Deciding to study something else and stop studying what I’m into right now. Just kidding.. But I feel like doing some else, going abroad.

11. Is there anyone I’ve been meaning to talk to?

12. Is there anyone that deserves a big ‘thank you’?
All of my wonderful roommates.

13. How can I help someone else this coming week?

14. What are my top 3 goals for the next 3 months?
#1 – Finish the term paper.
#2 – Conduct a study on fun and performance in a classroom
#3 – Write my thesis.

15. Have any of my recent actions moved me closer to my goals?
#1 – Reading a lot of books on the topic.
#2 – Asking Mrs. W.
#3 – Talking to the professor.

16. What’s the next step for each goal?
#1 – Read more and write more, try to structure my writing.

17. What am I looking forward to during the upcoming week? going to the christmas market with m. and with j. big family reunion next sunday :-)

18. What are my fears?
Failing in my final exams and not passing my thesis.
I’m afraid of gaining weight – something I’ve been struggling with for a long time. I’m afraid of losing control.

19. For what am I most grateful?
A lot of things: for running in the hills on Monday, for spending time with friends. But I’m also grateful that Christmas is coming up soon because I’m really looking forward to seeing my family.

20. What can I do to make life more beautiful today?
Go to bed soon :-)

1. What did I learn last week?
I discovered what it means to work hard physically and learnt to persevere.

2. What was my greatest accomplishment over the past week?
Working hard and gaining a lot of money – actually it’s sad to consider this the greatest accomplishment.

3. Which moment from last week was the most memorable and why?
Lots of moments where memorable: meeting for a coffee with J., having breakfast with J. and J., going out for lunch with N. and R., dancing last night after being done with work.

4.What’s the #1 thing I need to accomplish this week?
Finish the English paper.

5. What can I do right now to make the week less stressful?
Have a look at my schedule. Go to bed early.

6. What have I struggled with in the past that might also affect the upcoming week?
Wondering why J. broke ties with me and being depressed because of his behaviour.

7. What did I spend the most time on last week? Was that good or bad?
Working as a waitress at ‘Oktoberfest’. It was good although I got really exhausted and annoyed by all the drunk people.

8. Am I carrying any excess baggage into the week that can be dropped?
Not really.

9. What have I been avoiding that needs to get done?
Finding a topic for my thesis.

10. What opportunities are still on the table?
None?

11. Is there anyone I’ve been meaning to talk to?
Still thinking of talking to J. and telling him that he really is a cowardly person and that I’m mad at him.

12. Is there anyone that deserves a big ‘thank you’?
I’m grateful for so many things – God deserves a big ‘thank you’

13.How can I help someone else this coming week?
Don’t know yet. Being open-minded and listening to others.

14. What are my top 3 goals for the next 3 months?
#1 – Finding a topic for my thesis.
#2 – Invest more into my relationship with God.
#3 – Stop thinking endlessly about the past summer and move on.

15. Have any of my recent actions moved me closer to my goals?
#1 – No.
#2 – Yes, prayed more often and tried to read my bible.
#3 – Well, cannot really do anything, just take my time, reflect on everything and keep on writing..

16. What’s the next step for each goal?
#1 – Talking to some professors.
#2 – Spend time reading my bible and praying.
#3 – Don’t know.

17. What am I looking forward to during the upcoming week?
Traveling to Basel at the weekend.

18. What are my fears?
Ending up lonely because I only get to know guys who are not really interested in me – well, in the beginning they seem to be and then I get ‘dumped’

19. For what am I most grateful?
For my friends.

20. What can I do to make life more beautiful today?
Well, maybe read a good book before going to bed.

1. What did I learn/remember last week?
Men are only looking for short-term affairs and are afraid of long-term commitment. So never fall in love with someone who is just going to hurt you.

2. What was my greatest accomplishment over the past week?
Asking J. about his attitude.

3. Which moment from last week was the most memorable and why?
Waking up next to J on Tuesday morning and getting a ‘good morning’/’goodbye kiss’. It was memorable because I actually felt so happy – and only afterwards I was sad about him leaving again. It was also memorable because I was afraid of never seeing him again.

4.What’s the #1 thing I need to accomplish this week?
Finish the psychology paper and hand it in on Tuesday.

5. What can I do right now to make the week less stressful?
Nothing. Don’t have to work next Wednesday and next weekend, so the week is going to be pretty ‘boring’

6. What have I struggled with in the past that might also affect the upcoming week?
Feeling (even more) lonely.

7. What did I spend the most time on last week? Was that good or bad?
Writing my pychology paper. Challenging, but ok.

8. Am I carrying any excess baggage into the week that can be dropped?
Way too much. But I won’t manage to drop the ‘excess bagagge’ anyway

Planning my thesis. :-/

10. What opportunities are still on the table?
None? I’d like to go on holiday next weekend. I need to spend some time elsewhere.

My sister.

Baking something for my roommates.

That my depressive mood has a negative effect on my social life and on my motivation to study. Yesterday I would have said I’m afraid of J never texting me again – completely childish!!

For the weekend off, for being able to go running and playing beach volleyball with friends.
