talk to at least one person i don't know everyday

It’ time to get these social skills in check. I’m so horrible with social situations. My mind goes blank, and I can’t even find the energy in me to conersationalize.

I know that in the begining I’m sure to come off as an incometant ass, but over time, I’m sure I’ll get the knack of it, and hopefully put myself out there to meet some great people. It’ll never happen if I hide in my shell!!!

be dairy free for a full week

I finished the master cleanse last week, and felt fabulous. Until these intense NEEDINGS for dairy… home made mac’n’cheese, ice cream, eggs… It was just insane, and I found myself indulging… and feeling the effects later on. Yucky yuck!

So I’d like to test my theory that it was indeed the dairy, and see how wonderful I feel in my intestines when I stop all dairy products for a full week.

In preparation, I ate all my ice cream last night, and didn’t buy cheese at this weeks grocery shopping.

So this morning started it all. I had a cup of coffee… with soy milk. And we’ll see where it goes from here. I would love to transition to NO DAIRY EVER, but that might be a stretch at this point.

Take a ride in a hot air balloon (read all 2 entries…)

I figured it out.

$10-20/week put aside in an envelope marked “hot air funds”, and by a year from now I’ll have enough for the boys and I to embark on our journey.

How fantastic!

So far the envelope stands with $20 in it. I think this will be a much more “cost effective” way for this single parent of 2 to finance this trip. And it will be amazing for our souls.

I plan on updating regularly with the growing savings amount, and will look into the methods for booking a ride in the valley.

Yee-haw!!!
