Having a garden this summer has been the best thing ever. Being able to kip outside for herbs or fresh veg is priceless, and harvest season has been wonderful with hardly any pest problems. Weeding, watering, fertilizing, picking off slugs and bugs—all the work might seem annoying to some folks, but I love it.
(The photo is seed packets that will all become part of next year’s garden – heirloom tomatoes, broccoli, peppers, peas, ground cherries & watermelons, so far. Support Seed Savers Exchange!)
