grow spring flowers and vegetables

I planted tomatoes, cucumbers, beets, and a couple of flowering plants. I did better than expected. My plants didn’t die off immediatly like my previous ones did. Still, since I had to move and they were still to young to bare vegetables, I had to give them all away. I might tackle this goal again when I have my own place and huge backyard where I can plant stuff in.

read and finish a croquet project
Like Deciphering Another Language 12 months ago

Reading directions on how to croquet is like deciphering another language. It was fun learning how to do different stiches. I made a few hats and scrafs.

While I was a pre-school asssistant teacher, it was my lead who taught me how to do this. My lead and I would sit down during lunch and croquet the entire time through talking about random things. That’s how we grew close and got to know one another.
