This would’ve been a great movie had Brittney Murphy not been in it. She is an awful actress, and her portrayal of this Audrey-Hepburn-like character was just abysmal. It had the potential to be a quirky British romantic comedy, and she totally ruined it.

How I did it: It took my car being slightly under-the-weather for me to really kick this goal in gear, but now I've gotten so used to doing everything on foot, on bike, or on transit, that I'm considering getting rid of the damn thing entirely. Next month, I'm moving into an apartment that is so close to my job that all I have to do is walk across the hall to get there, which will further decline my need for an automobile. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Soaked some seeds and beans for awhile (how long depends on what you are working with), rinsed everything really well, placed in a mason jar with some nylon cloth over the mouth, sat them on a shelf in the kitchen and watched them grow! You need to rinse once in awhile to keep the moisture going (every 6 to 8 hours or so) and you just keep doing this until the sprouts are to your desired growth. A final rinse, and they are ready for eatin… Read how I did it…
Have I mentioned before that I love Jeremy Sisto? This was an odd role for him, as a Catholic priest. A woman confesses to him that she’s going to kill herself on her birthday, and his search to help her leads him into the seedy underbelly of the city. Four out of five stars.
1. Exercise somehow – either go on a bike ride or use the gym in K’s building.
2. Backup music files on external drive.
3. Go back on diet! (I was bad bad bad the last few days…oops.)
4. Catch up on writing the NaNoWriMo novel (should be somewhere around 27,000 by Wednesday).
5. Go through and unpack remaining boxes in living room.
6. Grocery shopping at Whole Foods – make list before going.
7. Design a simple business card and find out about getting them printed.
8. Take out compost and recycling.
9. Set up a filing system.
10. Clean the floors in the bathroom and kitchen.
11. Fix shower curtain.
12. Organize the kitchen cabinet where I just threw in all the random stuff that didn’t have a home.
13. Go through bedside drawer and re-organize.
14. Go through CDs again (sell, sell, sell!) and set up stereo.
Oh, is that all?
