At first we thought it was funny how my dog watched tv and barked at animals. We all laughed and reinforced her behavior. As time progressed, we all got quite tired of this behavior…Do you know how many animals are on TV!

First I tried throwing a bean bag at her every time she barked after I said enough. It worked great at first. But then she started up again. Next I filled a soda can with a few pennies and taped the top. A much better solution. After a few weeks of this, she’s stopped. If she starts up, I just grab the penny can and shake it.

What a beautiful thing…

This past year I changed out a planting area in my front yard. I installed a fountain and planted beautiful shade plants. I felt so accomplished…Now I’m planning another area to begin this next spring, more plants to move, pull out and make changes.

This lets me cover two goals, learning to play golf and then being able to golf in Ireland.
