How I did it: I went to Michaels and purchased a basic cake decorating book along with different food coloring. I baked my cakes from scratch and made my icing from scratch. The entire process took about 9 hours. With trial and error I learned how to handle the icing to make it look nice. I went on youtube to learn how to smooth the icing finish (the paper towel method!) How I did it: My job requires that all teachers become certified in CPR. Fortunately... they paid for us to take the class! Surprisingly, it was hard for me to get into the class because it was always full by the time I went to go sign up for it. It ended up being about 4-5 months after hire before I got certified. How I did it: It took me a long time to get the hair appointment. When I walked in to get bangs for the first time in my life I was so nervous! I always thought that bangs would look bad on me, but then started to get curious about side bangs. I took a leap of faith and I'm so glad that I did. Now I have so many more styles I can do with my hair, and my bangs are long enough that I can do a french twist braid, a french braid, a dutch braid, a pouf… Read how I did it…

I used 2 9-inch circular pans for chocolate cake. The first circle was for the body and the second was for the head and feet. I cut out an elongated shape of a head an two legs out from under each ear. Then I used peanut butter frosting with black food coloring for the black spots and buttercream frosting for the white. I used a #16 star tip for the icing and basically just put little stars all over. It was actually so easy and it looks so hard! Everyone was so impressed! One co-worker was convinced that I bought it and another asked me if I would bake her a cake for her birthday in February! I wrote it on my calendar. :) this new hobby is fun! This is my third cake. I’ll post the other two when I et the chance.
