I'm doing 29 things
A girl at work got in my face two days ago. She threw a soup bowl down on the salad counter and said.
“my salad should be done by now!!”
I told her that if she didn’t give enough room to do my job, I wouldn’t be able to get anything done and pushed her bowl farther down the line.
I should have told her that out of the two of us, only one (me) knows how to do both our jobs (I was a server for over a year before I switched to the back of the line) and that being a bitch and distracting me wasn’t going to get things done any faster. I also should have ripped the salad out of her hand when she took it and told her to wait for her ticket.
But on the other hand, it’s not worth getting written up for fighting over lettuce. However I hope she doesn’t expect me to do her any favors.
