What’s the major advantage of polytheism over monotheism? Much more smiting! My religion would involve a different god for each day of the year. 300 permanent gods, 1 god for the extra day in leap years and 56 “guest stars”. Each god would have his/her(Whoo-hoo, women ’s rights) own set of rules, commands, or suggestions for that day.

This would be an excellent religion for those who only want to take life half-seriously. Plus, it would have it’s own official website to ensure quality! Does YOUR religion have an official website? Yeah, neither does mine…yet!

You (or at least I) hear this or something similar as a suggestion every so often but you (or at least I) never hear about people putting it into practice. Seems like something that would be beneficial to both parties (hugging usually is). Looks like yet another job that can be accomplished at Wal-Mart!
